£450-500 per day DOE

An exciting new opportunity for a SEND Placement (inc. sufficiency) and governance specialist has arisen within the Northeast. My client is looking for an experienced team manager to lead the management of SEND Sufficiency and governance to maintain strategic consultation to deliver school places across SEND. You will also work alongside the statutory assessment team and act as the LA representative for decision making on tribunals and as the LA rep at hearings.

To succeed in this role, you must have – 

  • Substantial knowledge of the statutory and regulatory framework governing SEND Sufficiency and financial responsibility.
  • Experience of managing multi-functional teams including exclusions and Ep services
  • Experience in acting as LA representative in Tribunal matters.
  • School governance/management experience

You will need to form positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders devising and coordinating strategies to ensure consistency.
