We are pleased that Leah Overend has been promoted to Assistant Director!
Leah has been an integral member of our team since joining our children’s social care division in 2018.
Having worked in such an incredibly challenging role, Leah has risen to the challenge against all odds and has continued to encourage authenticity throughout the business.
Leah’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. In 2022, Leah was awarded “Most Inspiring Team Leader” accolade at the Recruiter Investing in Talent Awards. She has been promoted 4 times and has made a significant difference to the community with every single one of her 200+ placements, placing contractors in the most vulnerable areas of social care, from safeguarding through to fostering and adoption within local authorities.
Baltimore Consulting’s business model is built on making a difference to people’s lives within the community. Being neurodiverse herself, Leah is a true advocate for celebrating difference and ensures everyone is gifted the same opportunity and support, enabling her team to truly thrive under her leadership. She is evidence that if you can dream it, you can do it and the team here at Baltimore Consulting are incredible proud of her achievements to date.
Leah will be supporting our new Director of Sales, Jordan Groves, in managing the company’s sales division and focussing on driving quality, customer experience, client engagement and utilising a more efficient central delivery model.
On her promotion to Assistant Director of Sales, Leah Overend states: “To say that I am immensely proud to have been promoted to Assistant Director, would be an understatement! Time away from Baltimore Consulting during parental leave provided me clarity around the love for what I do, the role model I want to be for my daughter and the passion I have to make a real difference to the communities in which we work. I was extremely excited to return from maternity leave with a renewed focus and increased drive to be the very best version of myself. It’s incredible to have these qualities recognised in the form of a promotion.
Being able to work for a business that champions success and progression through fundamental life changes makes me feel very fortunate; there is no glass ceiling, and I am proof of that.
As Assistant Director, I’m really looking forward to being able to support and inspire everyone in the business to strive for success and get the very best out of their careers and recognise the impact this has on their clients and candidates within our community.”
