Team Manager – Adult Social Care

£375 per day

Hybrid – One day per week on site (Expenses negotiable)

 

This busy local authority in a beautiful part of the world has flexible working arrangements where hybrid working is viable, but a local presence is required once per week to ensure the post possible service is delivered by the team. You will be part of a well-established service with exciting plans for the next few years. You will report to the Service Manager and carry out the duties below.

 

Your role as Team Manager

 

  • Management and oversight of multidisciplinary team of social care professionals
  • Overseeing the services that operate within the Local Authority
  • Cost efficient creation of packages of care
  • Provide effective management oversight of the service, acting as an SME and a point of support to junior managers.
  • Performance management of the team

 

About you as a Team Manager:

 

  • You will be experienced managing a team within adult social care
  • Good understanding of the Care Act and MCA
  • Social worker or Occupational Therapist background
  • Experience with Mosaic and advantage
  • You will be willing and able to provide a site presence on a weekly basis
