Service Manager – CHC / Hospitals Adult Social Care

South East

450 – 500 per day

Inside IR35

3 months contract initially, likely to extend

Hybrid working

2 days per week on site

Reporting into the Head of Service you will be joining a busy, forward thinking Local Authority as part of the Community team. You will line manage around four direct reports and ensure the service is performing to the required standards.

 

Your role as Service Manager

 

  • Management of the community team
  • Managing direct reports and oversight of the larger team
  • Reporting to the Head of Service (Hospitals)
  • Proactive work to implement change and improvement
  • Hybrid working – Ideally at least 2 days per week on site

 

About you as a Service Manager

 

  • Substantial level of experience managing acute or community Hospital teams
  • Experience and understanding of continuing healthcare frameworks
  • Working knowledge of the discharge to assess process
  • Understanding of all current legislation including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
  • A calm leader with great communication and people management skills
