IRO (Independent Reviewing Officer)

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority on the East London Borough for an experienced IRO to support the conference and reviewing service for an initial 3 Month period.

3 Month interim contract
East London – full-time (hybrid working)
£40 per hour
Inside IR35
 
Your duties and responsibilities as IRO:
 

• You will hold a case load comprising of child placements.
• Responsible for chairing CP meetings face to face when required.
• Cooperating with Social Workers and Managers to undertake case file reviews, mid-point audits.
• Provide support to sw staff teams with professional experience.

 
Your required experience as IRO:
 

• Demonstrable experience as IRO or experience working within the service
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance practice in IRO role
• At least 2 years references to support your application.
• Current DBS
