Baltimore Consulting are currently recruiting for a new interim opportunity, Practice Lead Academy and Development, the opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority in the South West to support ASYE Practitioners to deliver a consistent and high quality approach to practice. This role will be initially on an interim basis and the main focus of the role will be to review the current Social Work Academy with a view to bring improvement to the service.

About your role as the Practice Lead Academy and Development:

  • Diagnostic of existing social work academy and proposal for development .
  • Development and embedding of reflective practice sessions.
  • Development of ASYE 2 year pathway.
  • Supporting practice development and improvement in line with the Council and their Children’s improvement plan 

 
Your required experience as Practice Lead Academy and Development:

  • Qualified Social Worker.
  • Experience working within QA or Social Work Academy function in a managerial capacity in a local authority setting.
  • Significant previous experience and knowledge within regulations and legislation of Children’s Social Care.
  • Ability to challenge others constructively and make informed decisions.
  • Available references for most recent 2 year’s roles and Enhanced DBS will be required.
