Reporting into the Team Manager you will be responsible for carrying out Homelessness assessments for a Local Authority.
 
About the Homelessness Officer role:

  • Managing a case load of assessments
  • Making difficult, unbiased decisions to help customers whilst ensuring Law’s and Legislation are being adhered to.
  • Liaising with Landlords regarding their contracts under the Housing Acts and protections from eviction legislation
  • Managing Section 21’s

Your previous experience as a Homelessness Officer:

  • Sound knowledge of Housing legislation
  • Homelessness experience within a Local Authority
  • Empathetic with great communication skills
  • Strong reporting writing skills
