CEO, Charmaine Vincent, announced as a finalist at the 2021 Best Business Woman Awards

Our fearless leader, Charmaine Vincent, is an award-winning entrepreneur that has fought her way to the very top, despite adversity through gender inequality.

Women now own 36% of small businesses and the rate of growth of women in business has been 4.2% in the last 12 years. There is still a long way to go, and Charmaine is an advocate for women in business, fighting in the corner of gender equality.

Not only does she run a successful Public Sector recruitment company boasting a 60:40 female to male split, but she is being recognised for her successes, winning accolades above her male counterparts and making waves in the industry.

The Best Business Women Awards have announced their finalists for 2021 and this is an amazing line up of incredible business women from across the globe. Pushing through the pandemic, these women continued to drive their businesses forwards.

The judges were impressed of the creativity, tenacity and great business acumen demonstrated in the finalists selected. The Best Business Women Awards are designed to recognise the achievement of those women across a wide range industries.

Having won the 2020 Best Business Woman in Recruitment award, we are delighted to announce that Charmaine Vincent has been shortlisted as a finalist once again.

Debbie Gilbert, organiser of The Best Business Women Awards said ‘The 7th year of these prestigious awards has proved to be the most challenging for business owners worldwide. The entries were judged by a panel of business experts who had a tough job reading hundreds of entries. To be a finalist in this competition is a major achievement and a mark of quality. All our finalists either win a Silver or Gold Award.

The businesswomen selected have been chosen for their business acumen, determination, creativity, and tenacity. All our finalists are all shining examples of being successful entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges.’

Charmaine is a truly inspiring business leader. Having founded Baltimore Consulting 8 years ago, she has built a hugely successful business, delivering industry leading growth during this time and circa £13million turnover in 2020. Now in our 9th year, and despite the effects of the global pandemic, we are going from strength to strength and our results are speaking for themselves.

Charmaine is extremely passionate about maintaining a positive mindset and this certainly spreads throughout the entire business. Far too often we are led by fear and become our own Achilles heel. It’s easy to say that we don’t have time, but the reality is, if we turn our “should”, into a “must” and commit to doing something positive, limitations and barriers are removed, and anything is possible.

Charmaine Vincent says:

“Running a business through a global pandemic has certainly proved challenging. That said I couldn’t be prouder of my team for showing such resilience and commitment to supporting the wider community during these uncertain times. I have continued to lead with my heart and put my people and their well-being first. This has seen us continue our growth trajectory and proudly achieve our best year in business.

To be shortlisted in the category of “Most Inspiring Business woman” truly Is an honourable milestone in my career. I genuinely care and make it my mission to empower other women to believe in themselves, so to be recognised as industry leading alongside so many other incredible women that are truly making a difference, is absolutely incredible”.

At Baltimore Consulting, our mantra is “empowered to be authentic and achieve great things,” and this is something that shines through our business.

Our story is truly unique, and we are proud of that. It’s part of our DNA.
