The children’s charity delivers a number of impactful programmes that engage hard to reach groups, enhance community cohesion, improve social mobility as well as celebrating the incredible achievements of young people who have overcome adversity to achieve great things.

Baltimore Consulting are a purpose-led recruitment business in the heart of Bristol that services vulnerable subject areas across social care and education provisions within local authorities, such as SEN, mental health, children’s safeguarding and disabilities across adult social care.

Supporting the local community is incredibly important to the staff at Baltimore Consulting, and continuing to support causes that are close to their hearts is the foundation upon which Baltimore is built.

Involvement in these projects allow the business to support communities that are culturally, economically, and geographically disadvantaged.

92% of children that participate in these programmes are eligible for free school meals, with a further 5% of these children considered to be at risk.

This partnership will also allow staff to utilise their volunteering time to build upon their experiences helping people within the business come together and develop their soft skills.

“After 11 years of successfully supplying staff into vulnerable subject areas within the public sector, we’re absolutely delighted to announce our partnership with Community of Purpose,” said Charmaine Vincent, Owner and CEO at Baltimore Consulting. “We’re extremely passionate about making a difference to people’s lives within the community.

With the cost of living crisis, it’s hard to see the wood through the trees. School holidays can be such a stressful time, especially for families who already struggle to provide for young people.

Acts of kindness go such a long way, and being able to make a difference and help alleviate this stress is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Amy Kington, CEO of Community of Purpose, states:

“Baltimore is a brilliant business who are committed to transforming the lives and futures of young people.  We’re proud of our partnership and the impact that it’ll unlock for so many young people in need.”
