Baltimore Consulting helping to better mental health services in Bristol

Here at Baltimore Consulting, our local community is incredibly important to us, and continuing to support causes that our close to our hearts is the foundation upon which Baltimore is built.

We’re delighted to announce that we have donated £600 towards mental health charity partner, Bristol Mind throughout the fourth quarter in 2022.

These funds will make such an impact for mental health services around Bristol; £500 can support the running of the charity’s free refugee support group in their Bristol Women Without Borders group. A donation like this can pay for training, English lessons and renting a safe space for refugee women to talk about their mental health and wellbeing.

The funds were donated based on placements made within the public sector across the quarter, from mental health commissioning within adult social care and children’s services, through to SEN provisions in educational settings.

We are a bighearted business and have supported and directed our fundraising efforts to Cancer Research UK and local charity Bristol Mind, as our charities of choice in 2022 and will continue to do so throughout 2023.

Why is it so important to us?

Did you know that 1 in 6 employees suffer with some form of mental health condition?

From anxiety, through to depression, work is the main cause of stress and mental illness for today’s workforce over any other factor.

At Baltimore Consulting, we’ve consistently gone above and beyond for our employees whenever they’ve needed it, but there is always room for more. Our employees continued health and wellbeing, both mental and physical are extremely important to us as a business. Without our employees, Baltimore simply wouldn’t exist, let alone be successful.

This donation comes alongside our continued commitment to our employees, from our partnership with Spectrum.Life; an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering free, confidential counselling and wellbeing support services that are available to all employees and their families, through to our fully trained Mental Health First Aiders within the business who are on hand to support each and every one of our employees. Our leadership team are also currently undertaking life coaching sessions to allow them to put their best foot forward and be the very best versions of themselves.
