Are you ready to lead a service that is transforming outcomes for children and families through innovative, relationship-based practice? This Service Manager opportunity will see you providing strategic and operational leadership across a Family Safeguarding service, leading Team Managers and Social Workers to deliver outstanding, child-centred support. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and key partners, driving service improvement, performance excellence and positive change for children and young people.

Your Role as Service Manager:
• Provide inspirational leadership across Family Safeguarding, creating a culture where staff feel valued, supported and empowered.
• Drive high standards of social work practice, quality assurance and performance management.
• Lead and develop Team Managers, building resilient, motivated and high-performing teams.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver integrated services and achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
• Lead service improvement, workforce planning, budget management and strategic change programmes. 

Your Previous Experience as Service Manager:
• Recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Significant management experience within Children’s Social Care.
• Proven track record of leading safeguarding services and improving outcomes for children and families.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance and inspection frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, communication and service transformation experience.
