£750 – £850 per day
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)

Hybrid working – South Coast   CVs are being reviewed immediately and interviews will be taking place week commencing 6th July 2026

Reporting into senior leadership, you will influence strategy across education, health and care, working at pace to deliver sustainable outcomes for children and young people. This Interim SEND Reform Lead position offers you the opportunity to lead complex transformation across SEND services, balancing statutory responsibilities with innovation and long-term vision.

As an Interim SEND Reform Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering a progressive SEND strategy, ensuring early help, partnership working, and improved outcomes remain at the heart of everything you do.

• Drive strategic leadership across SEND & Inclusion, delivering long-term transformation
• Lead cross-sector collaboration with education, health, and care partners
• Navigate complex decision-making, balancing compliance, capacity, and budgets
• Influence senior stakeholders through negotiation and advisory expertise
• Oversee programme delivery, ensuring high-quality, sustainable outcomes

Your experience as Interim SEND Reform Lead:

• Proven senior leadership experience within education or local authority settings
• Strong understanding of SEND frameworks, legislation, and strategy delivery
• Expertise in managing complex change programmes and system reform
• Highly developed communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
• Commitment to inclusion, equality, and improved outcomes for children and young people
