Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Hybrid working – 1–2 days onsite per week

You’ll be stepping in and expected to hit the ground running and make a visible difference straight away. As a SEN Case Officer, you’ll be trusted to manage a sizeable caseload while working alongside an experienced team that can support quick onboarding and fast decision-making.

Your Role as a SEN Case Officer:

  • Manage a Post-14 caseload of 300–325 with confidence and autonomy.
  • Lead on EHCP processes, ensuring compliance and high-quality outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with education providers, families and key stakeholders.
  • Navigate Ofsted pressures, ensuring accuracy and timely case progression.
  • Deliver clear and consistent casework management and decision-making.

 
Your previous experience as a SEN Case Officer:

  • Proven experience handling high-volume SEN caseloads within a local authority.
  • Strong understanding of Post-14 pathways and EHCP legislation.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Confidence in working both independently and as part of a wider SEN team.
