I’m currently working with a Council in the Midlands that are seeking an experienced Home to School Transport Consultant for a 6 month contract.
 
Teams Interviews are to be held w/c 29th April.
 
In your role as a Home to School Transport Consultant, you will be reporting into the AD for Education & Head of Service for Transport.
 
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working as a Home to School Transport Consultant, within a local authority setting.

Your Role as Home to School Transport Consultant:-
 

• You will hold strategic oversight on spend and budgetary oversight
• Managing cost efficiencies and looking at methodology
• Manage the commissioning and procurement of transport services

 
Your previous experience as Home to School Transport Consultant:-
 

• Senior management experience within Home to School Transport
• Experience in cost efficiencies and budgetary control and reducing a budgetary deficit
• Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare and present reports to senior management
• Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external service providers
• Experienced in managing budgets and commissioning services
