CEO of Baltimore Consulting, Charmaine Vincent, has won the Business Woman of the Year award, at this year’s National Business Women’s Awards!
This is an incredible achievement, marking her third award win since September. This win comes after Charmaine recently joined forces with the Bristol Women in Business Charter to become the 41st signatory in the scheme.
The Bristol Women in Business Charter is a long-term project, with the sole purpose of recognising and supporting businesses in and around Bristol that are making progress towards gender equality.
Like Charmaine, the Women in Business Charter’s belief is that businesses cannot reach their full potential if they fail to recruit and retain a gender-balanced workforce.
The Business Woman of the Year award category honours inspiring innovators and visionaries. This category is open to business leaders who have achieved accomplishments of significance over their career. Charmaine was awarded the Business Women of the Year award because she possesses qualities of vision, innovation, entrepreneurial drive, leadership and demonstrates her commitment to gender diversity.

A truly inspiring business leader, Charmaine founded Baltimore Consulting 10 years ago and she has built a hugely successful business with a great reputation for fulfilling Local Authorities’ hiring requirements and becoming an expert in supporting vulnerable subject areas such as Mental Health, SEN & Safeguarding Adults and Children. Charmaine has high emotional intelligence and believes that her love of the job and supporting others is a contributing factor to the unprecedented growth Baltimore have enjoyed since founding.
The National Business Women’s Awards are made up of 21 categories that allow any successful business in the UK to enter. All entries are judged by up to 4 judges from their national panel.
Winners were announced at the Hilton in Wembley on 15th November 2023.
