Bristol CEO to judge National Business Women’s Awards

Our award-winning owner and CEO, Charmaine Vincent, has once again been announced on the judging panel at the 2024 National Business Women’s Awards.

The National Business Women’s Awards are a credible opportunity to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising Business Women Nationally, and Charmaine is delighted to be involved in the judging process for the third time.

The National Business Women’s Awards are made up of 22 categories that allow any successful business in the UK to enter. All entries are judged by up to 4 judges from their national panel.

Charmaine Vincent, of Baltimore Consulting, set up the business to become the Senior Appointment and niche recruitment experts to the Public Sector, with a passion for making a difference to people’s lives within the community.

A multi-award winner herself, here she shares award writing tips:

Charmaine recently joined forces with the Bristol Women in Business Charter to become the 41st signatory in the scheme.

The Bristol Women in Business Charter is a long-term project, with the sole purpose of recognising and supporting businesses in and around Bristol that are making progress towards gender equality.

Like Charmaine, the Women in Business Charter’s belief is that businesses cannot reach their full potential if they fail to recruit and retain a gender-balanced workforce.

Charmaine Vincent, of Baltimore Consulting, is an award-winning business woman and entrepreneur that has fought her way to the very top, despite adversity through gender inequality.

Charmaine’s story is simple; she is a working mother with big dreams. Having backed herself in 2013, she hasn’t looked back. The business has been on an upward trajectory ever since. Charmaine, as a female business owner and entrepreneur has won multiple awards and has grown the business to what it is today whilst boasting a 90% staff retention rate.

As a business, Baltimore Consulting are predominantly female; boasting a 45:55 ratio of male/female which is a rarity for any business, and completely unheard of within the male dominated recruitment industry.

Charmaine is extremely proud of how progressive this is for the wonderful world of the recruitment industry. She actively nurtures and develops talent and celebrates their successes, regardless of their gender identity.

The National Business Women’s Award winners will be crowned in London in October 2024.
