Baltimore Consulting fundraises for Macmillan Cancer Support

On Monday 23rd September, the team here at Baltimore HQ held a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support, raising £225.

We have a number of keen and avid bakers here at Baltimore Consulting, so we we’re inundated with delicious, sweet and savoury baked goods, from Leah’s infamous sausage rolls and James’s homemade sourdough bread, to Josie’s Biscoff Rocky Road and Suzanne’s Blueberry and Lemon Cake. The list was endless, and we’re not complaining!

We’re incredibly proud to have been able to contribute to such a wonderful cause; 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetimes. Donations from Coffee Mornings help raise vital funds to support the 3 million people in the UK living with cancer, from the moment they are diagnosed, throughout treatment and beyond.

In 2023, Coffee Mornings raised £18,041,302; enough to fund 288 Macmillan nurses for a year.

Every one of us will, at some point, be affected by cancer in some way, so it’s so important for us to help make a difference.

£200 could pay for a Macmillan Grant that helps a family affected by cancer pay for energy bills, travel to hospital or home adaptations.

Over the last 3 years, we’ve raised more than £500 through hosting Coffee Mornings. At Baltimore Consulting, community is important to us, we make a difference to people’s lives day in, day out, but there is always more.

Our caring ethos runs through our DNA and we’re proud to be different.

There’s still time to donate here.
