Baltimore Consulting feature on Recruiter’s Hot 100

We’re delighted to announce that we have been featured on this year’s Recruiter Hot 100 list.

A Bristol-based recruitment business with a difference, Baltimore Consulting are only one of five businesses that solely focus on servicing the public sector featured, placing 57th in the list of 100 recruitment companies across the UK overall.

That said we’re extremely proud that since our inception in 2013, we have continued to fulfil hiring requirements and support vulnerable subject areas such as, Mental Health, SEN & Safeguarding Adults and Children across Local Government and Education.

Our consultative approach facilitates us in matching exceptional talent to our client’s requirements on both a permanent and interim basis.

The Hot 100 report was compiled by Gambit Corporate Finance on behalf of Recruiter to determine which companies are best at leveraging their intellectual assets. This is done by measuring gross profit per employee, indicating how effectively a organisation uses the skills of their people in order to generate a profitable return for stakeholders.

Key findings include:

  • The sectors heightened demand and resilience amid market volatility was evidenced in year-on-year growth of £6.2bn
  • Average GP per head sits at £129,127 within recruitment sector as a whole, but minimum GP per employee required to feature on the list has dropped by 63% despite sector growth. This ultimately highlights sector competitiveness and margin pressure
  • The list saw an increase in interim recruitment solutions vs permanent services (55:45), but recruiters that focused on servicing permanent markets were more prevalent on the list
