We are seeking an experienced, versatile Business Analyst to join a dynamic programme aimed at helping the council achieve compliance in the housing services we provide.

A key focus of this role is understanding, assessing, and improving processes, ensuring they are efficient and fit for purpose.

About the Business Analyst role:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager and subject matter experts to deliver project objectives.
  • Conduct thorough business analysis, including evaluating current processes, identifying challenges, and defining improved ‘to-be’ processes.
  • Document and communicate findings, recommendations, and proposed solutions to project teams, service areas, and stakeholders.
  • Operate both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Contribute to business case development by shaping and evaluating options.
  • Research and benchmark how similar organisations deliver comparable services.

 
Your previous experience as Business Analyst:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong analytical skill set.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication abilities.
  • Expertise in process design and redesign.
  • Housing BA experience
  • Experience developing and improving processes, ideally within a local authority setting.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a creative approach to optimising service delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and evolving environment.
  • Excel at engaging with busy stakeholders, fostering strong and collaborative working relationships.
