Are you an experienced Service Manager – Front Door (MASH, EDT, Early Help Hubs) looking for your next impactful assignment? This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Service Manager – Front Door (MASH, EDT, Early Help Hubs) to lead critical front-door services, ensuring children and families receive timely, effective support and protection when they need it most.
 
As the Service Manager – Front Door (MASH, EDT, Early Help Hubs), you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding children, managing risk, and driving service performance across key early intervention and statutory services. This assignment offers the chance to make a genuine difference while leading experienced teams within a fast-paced and high-profile environment.
 
Your Role as Service Manager – Front Door (MASH, EDT, Early Help Hubs):

  • Lead and continuously improve delivery across MASH, EDT and Early Help Hub services
    • Drive high-quality safeguarding practice and ensure statutory compliance
    • Provide expert oversight of complex casework and critical decision making
    • Manage risk effectively to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children
    • Lead performance management, service improvement and workforce development

 
Your Previous Experience as Service Manager – Front Door (MASH, EDT, Early Help Hubs):

  • Proven leadership experience within Children’s Social Care services
    • Strong operational knowledge of MASH, Early Help and safeguarding services
    • Significant experience managing complex child protection and safeguarding risks
    • Track record of improving service performance and outcomes for children and families
    • Enhanced DBS with Adults’ and Children’s Barred List clearance and SWE registration

 
This role requires regular partnership working and attendance within a multi-agency environment, with travel required approximately three days per week. You will be a visible and resilient leader, confident in providing strategic direction whilst maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and safeguarding outcomes.
