Who are you and what is your purpose?

Baltimore Consulting are an incredibly successful business progressing on an upwards trajectory. My role as Finance Director is centred around ensuring that we make the right financial decisions for the business, and that we scale all the financial operations in a way that supports the business and the talented wider team as we continue grow.

What has been your greatest achievement (personal or professional)?

What I’m most proud of is my family and my 2 fantastic daughters. I love watching them grow up, developing their individuality and their own passions. The pandemic was an incredibly turbulent time for everyone, but it was significantly impactful on the kids with schools being closed so much. The resilience and determination they showed through that time made me incredibly proud.

What advice would you give other leaders out there?

If you have the passion, a clear vision and can be yourself, people will follow. Integrity and strong values always win; your team will stick with you when things get tough.

Who inspires you? And why?

Over recent years, I’ve been blown away by the new generation of leaders that have emerged; people like Gretta Thunberg and Marcus Rashford.  The passion, integrity, and leadership qualities they display are incredible and I think it’s so important to have them as role models.

Favourite Food

I spent a couple of years in my early twenties teaching in Japan and I’m still obsessed with Japanese food. I’ve even been learning to cook more of it over recent years (with very mixed success!)

What’s your leadership superpower?

I’m measured. I always like to think things through. You must move fast and be brave, of course, but considering potential pitfalls or other alternatives is also what keeps you heading in the right direction.
