Who are you and what is your purpose?

In my role as Head of Finance Operations, I lead the Finance, Contracts, and Compliance team to ensure smooth financial operations, strong internal controls, and full compliance processes being followed.

I oversee cash flow, payroll, reporting, and audits, while supporting strategic planning with Phil, our Finance Director. My role also includes contractor care, credit control management, and driving team performance through recruitment, training, and leadership.

My purpose is to lead and optimise financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic support that enables the back-office side of the business to run smoothly and grow confidently.

What has been your greatest achievement (personal or professional)?

My greatest professional achievement is consistently earning promotions, proof of my impact, leadership, hard work and the trust I’ve built by delivering results and driving positive change.

My biggest personal achievement is the journey I’ve made on my own. From overcoming challenges, staying resilient, to building a life and career I’m proud of. It reflects not only how far I’ve come, but also the independence, determination, and strength I’ve developed along the way.

What advice would you give other leaders out there?

Stay curious – The best leaders ask more than they answer. Stay open to feedback, challenge your own assumptions, and keep learning, especially from those around you.

Who inspires you? And why?

Mel Robbins inspires me because she turns fear into action and leads with a positive mindset. Her 5 Second Rule taught me that change starts with a simple decision, not perfection. She’s honest, relatable, and shows how small steps and a strong attitude can lead to big breakthroughs

PIZZA – all day, every day, however any Italian food is the way to my heart.

My leadership superpowers are Empowerment and Empathy. I lead by lifting others, empowering my team to grow, take ownership, and thrive, while staying deeply attuned to their needs, challenges, and motivations. My strength lies in creating a culture of trust, support, and belief in people’s potential.
