Job Title:                                  Team Manager AMHP
Contract Length:                       3-6 month initial interim contract
Location:                                  North East of England local authority.
                                                  Hybrid working, two/three days a week on site.
Pay rate:                                   £400 per day
IR35 Status:                             Inside IR35

We are currnently working with a North East of England based local authority in their search for an experienced AMHP professional for a 3-6 month interim assignment to lead thier adult AMHP Team.

Your duties as a Team Manager:
 

  • Lead the AMHP day service, strengthening the service and promoting and governing strength-based practice.
  • Manage the operational running of the AMHP Team, ensuring the directorate maintains local authority statutory responsibilities of the Mental Health Act.
  • Providing advice for junior staff members on complex cases.

 
Experience needed as a Team Manager:
 

  • Have demonstrable experience leading AMHP teams, leading on operational aspects whilst supporting senior managers with strategic objectives.
  • Meet the knowledge and skill requirements to advise on latest guidance around the Mental Health Act.
  • Be a current or past accredited AMHP.
  • Available references for your most recent assignments.
