Are you an experienced Adult Mental Health leader looking for your next interim opportunity?
This Team Manager position offers the chance to lead a dedicated Adult Mental Health service, supporting practitioners to deliver high-quality interventions and positive outcomes for local residents. You will play a key role in managing performance, overseeing service delivery and ensuring the team operates effectively within a fast-paced Local Authority environment.
Your Role as Team Manager:
• Provide day-to-day leadership and line management to an Adult Mental Health team.
• Oversee workload allocation, ensuring cases are managed effectively and resources are utilised efficiently.
• Support practitioners through supervision, performance management and professional development.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services that achieve positive outcomes for local residents.
• Drive service performance, operational effectiveness and adherence to statutory responsibilities.
• Attend the local office and operational sites 2-3 days per week initially, with increased flexibility available thereafter.
Your Previous Experience as Team Manager:
• Qualified Social Worker or relevant professional qualification with current registration through Social Work England (SWE) or HCPC.
• Previous experience working within an Adult Mental Health service in a Local Authority or similar organisation.
• Significant management and leadership experience within Adult Social Care.
• Experience leading Mental Health or AMHP teams and managing complex operational demands.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding responsibilities and best practice within Adult Services.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
