Service Manager – Safeguarding and DoLS
Permanent Role – Full time

South Wales based Local Authority  
Hybrid working – 3 days/ week onsite required
£53,500- £54,500 per annum

Reporting into the Head of Service, you will be responsible for managing DoLS, Safeguarding and Secure Estate Services.

Your Role as Service Manager :

  • Working as part of MASH
  • Be the strategic and operational lead
  • Develop policies and procedures in line with legislation
  • Provide reports to the regional Safeguarding Board and the directorate management team
  • Work with QA framework to audit practice and deliver recommendations to management

Your previous experience as Service Manager:

  • Registered Social Worker
  • Have managed safeguarding and/or DoLS teams
  • Extensive adult social care experience
  • Able to analyse policy and legislation
  • Must demonstrate experience in a Local Authority setting
