Are you an experienced Senior Lift and Electrical Engineer looking for an opportunity to take ownership of critical compliance programmes and major M&E projects? As a Senior Lift and Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring statutory compliance, delivering high-profile engineering projects, managing specialist contractors, and safeguarding residents through best-in-class service delivery. Reporting into the Engineering & Compliance Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Lift and Electrical Engineer to make a tangible impact across a diverse property portfolio while managing significant budgets and complex programmes from concept through to completion.

Your Role as Senior Lift and Electrical Engineer

• Lead the operational management and delivery of lift, electrical and M&E compliance programmes and projects
• Manage and audit contractors, ensuring statutory compliance, performance standards and KPI targets are consistently achieved
• Undertake technical inspections, quality assurance checks and contract monitoring activities across multiple projects
• Prepare specifications, tender documentation, feasibility studies and project reports while supporting procurement activities
• Manage project budgets, forecast expenditure, monitor cash flow and ensure schemes are delivered on time and within budget

Your Experience as Senior Lift and Electrical Engineer

• Significant experience managing lift and electrical compliance contracts within housing, property or asset management environments
• Strong programme and project management experience across the full project lifecycle
• Technical expertise in building services, engineering maintenance, construction regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience conducting technical inspections, managing contractors and delivering excellent customer-focused services
• Relevant lift or electrical qualification such as LEIA, Level 4 VRQ in Electrical Safety Management, Asset & Building Management Compliance, or equivalent
