SEND Service Manager
📍 Location: Southeast based Council -hybrid (3 days/week onsite) | 💰 Salary: £66,572-£69,180| 🕒 Permanent | 📅 Start: ASAP
Are you a strategic leader with expertise in SEND services? This council is looking for a SEND Service Manager to lead four key teams: Tribunals, PFA, Assessment, and Annual Reviews, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead and manage four SEND team managers and grow/ develop the SEND team.
✅Drive service improvements in EHCP processes and transitions.
✅ Oversee complex casework, including tribunals.
✅ Collaborate with schools, health, and social care partners.
✅ Ensure compliance with SEND Code of Practice, Education Act 1996, and the Children & Families Act 2014.
What you will have as a SEND Manager:
🔹 Proven SEND leadership experience in a local authority.
🔹 Strong knowledge of EHCPs, tribunals, and transitions.
🔹 Excellent stakeholder management skills.
🔹 Passion for inclusion and positive outcomes for children with SEND.
