Interim SEND Complaint Officer
3-6 Months Interim Contract
Inside IR35 £320 P/D
Full time – Fully Remote
Southeast- Local authority
 
We have an exciting opportunity working with a Local Authority within Southeast, the role itself will require you to assist the SEND department in reducing the backlog of complaints. working with various stake holders and leaders to ensure positive outcomes.
Interviews are happening W/C 24/11/23 with CVs being shortlisted this coming Thursday (24/11/23).
Essential Skills & Abilities  

• Senior Officer Experience
• Understands the SEND Complaint process, understanding how to draft responses.
• Previous Experience in Dealing with SEND Complaints
• Understanding the SEND Code of Practice 2014.
• Previous Local Authority Experience

Job Role

• You will be working with a small team who each have their own allocated list of complaints.
• There will be no line management responsibilities within this role.
• You will be given complaints that are currently between stages 1 and 2 of the complaint process.
• Within this role you will be given autonomy to get on with your own caseload, whilst having weekly check ins with the line manager.
