We currently have a requirement for a School Admissions Manager within the Midlands area. However, this would be mostly a remote working position with a minimum amount of time spent in the office.
As an SEN Transport Consultant you will have

  • A proven track record of strategic and operational management in a senior role
  • Clear evidence of a strong track record of supporting a medium sized team
  • Experience of working within a Local Authority (This is essential)
  • Lead cross functional teams in high pressure settings and budgetary management
  • Specialised understanding integrated transport across all facets

Day to day responsibilities

  • Programmes manage the delivery of educational provision and sufficiency, taking a holistic, joined up view of design, delivery and evaluation. The postholder will effectively co-ordinate the programme’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising.


  • Manage resources, risk and programmes of work, and give technical and professional advice to the organisation in order to meet statutory or local requirements. Be proactive in monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.


  • Ensure that the Council manages its resources effectively, ensure effective quality assurance, delivering value for money, exploiting opportunities to drive out inefficiencies and taking advantage of potential external income where appropriate.

The organisation would be looking to interview immediately with meetings between applicants and recruiting managers starting to commence this week.

During this extremely busy time the DPH of a Local Authority in the East is searching for 2 Consultants in Public Health to support their Team

As the Consultant in Public Health you will:
·Develop priorities, policies and guidelines in line with Authorities expectations
·Holding senior leadership within the council, driving improved health and wellbeing
·Identifying new evidence and practice, as well as new threats to the population’s health
·Emergency planning
·Health improvement programmes
·Training scheme
·Holding responsibility for budgets and monitor financial initiatives
·Policy work
·Development with business continuity – working with other business partners

What you will have as a Consultant in Public Health:
·Been GMC Specialist registered/ UKPHR
·Good interpersonal skills and be very articulate
·Strong people and political skills
·Can provide 2 year’s references +

Essential experience for Lead Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP):

  • Qualified Social worker and approved Mental Health practitioner with current or recent warrant
    • You will have extensive knowledge around mental health policies and practices
    • You will of practised as an AMHP in the last 12 months
    • Have managed a case-load of complex cases
    • Have managed a team of direct reports and be confident to lead
    • 2/3 Years’ experience of working within an AMHP role

About the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP):

  • Underlying Mental Health Act assessments and referrals
    • Duty AMHP work collaborating with colleagues across adult social care and health
    • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, recognising the user’s needs
    • Supporting relatives and carers in their roles through the provision of care.
