I’m currently working exclusively with South West Council that are seeking an experienced SEN Case Officer for a 6 month contract. This role sits within the annual reviews team. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, writing plans, content amendments, with a secondary focus on annual reviews. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working within a similar role for a council. You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a SEN Case Officer and have worked for multiple councils to ensure you can hit the ground running and get to grips with the systems quickly.

Requirement: SEN Case Officer

• Contribute to the day-to-day function of the Assessment and Review Service
• Must hold experience of tribunals, complex cases and in particular annual reviews
• Manage large caseload of complex cases and new assessments
• Collation of evidence and support prep and presentation of tribunal cases
• Managing workflow, co-production of parents expert knowledge of best practice
• Draft new assessments and attend annual review meetings
