I’m currently working with a Council in the West Midlands that are seeking an experienced SEN Case Officer for an initial 2 month contract to help provide support to the team.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 6 month’s experience as a SEN Case Officer within a local authority setting.

You must also have extensive knowledge of SEND and be willing to take on all tasks associated with casework – including speaking to families and schools.

Requirement: Interim SEN Case Officer

  • To carry out the casework associated with the statutory assessment process.
  • To contribute to new service developments.
  • To support children and young people and their parents and carers and schools involved in the statutory assessment process.
  • To have high expectations of all children and young people in the Service.
  • To ensure equality of opportunity for all children and to maintain good communication links with parents, other services and agencies.
  • Writing, drafting and amending EHCP’s.

Interviews are to be held w/c 26th September with a start very soon thereafter.
