Area Team Manager
3-6 month interim contract
Inside IR35 – £380-£400 per day (via umbrella)

Due to a change in the team this local authority is looking for an Area Team Manager to support the SEN service as they find a permanent replacement.

Your duties as Area Team Manager:

  • Liaise with managers in Education, Health and Social Care to resolve complex casework
  • Responsible for area team decision making panels and complex decisions
  • Line management of senior and case officers (~15)

Experience needed as Area Team Manager:

  • Must have previous experience managing a team within a SEND LA service
  • Have experience of mediation, complaints and tribunal deadlines
  • Expert knowledge on SEND legislation
