Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a London based private provider to support the Childrens Residential Services. This role is being offered on a permanent basis. The role will require a flexible and committed professional with experience in inspection and managing complex staff teams.
This role is full time and would require you to work in the home Monday – Friday with the on-call rota being 1 weekend in 5. One day a week from home can be facilitated if needed, however you will need to be present in the homes for supporting staff.
My client will be holding MS Teams interviews taking place WC 14th November with a view to start ASAP.
About your responsibilities as the Registered Manager:

  • You will either be supporting with a new home as a 16+ supported living which will need registration next year, or coming in to one of the already established homes (further details of these homes can be provided)
  • Meeting standards: making sure the home is running against regulations
  • Involvement with recruitment
  • Staff management
  • Reviewing policies

About your required experience as the Registered Manager:

  • Active registration with Social Care England
  • Experience as a Registered Managing supporting with Childrens Homes (happy with work across LA’s or in the private sector)
  • Must show high levels of commitment
  • Evidence skills to manage complex staff teams
  • Experience in inspections
  • References covering the last 2 years of employment
