Are you an experienced Registered Manager who can step into a settled service and provide strong leadership during an important period? This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Manager to oversee a single occupancy children’s home supporting one young person who has made significant progress, with greatly reduced restrictions and positive outcomes across education, family engagement and behaviour.

As Registered Manager, you will inherit a stable environment with no recent incidents, no restraints and no missing episodes. The focus will be on maintaining standards, evidencing good practice and ensuring inspection readiness. This is an ideal assignment for a Registered Manager who can quickly build confidence with staff and stakeholders while continuing the positive journey already underway.

Your Role as Registered Manager:
• Lead a 1-bed children’s home and maintain high-quality care standards
• Drive Ofsted readiness and ensure compliance ahead of inspection activity
• Provide effective leadership, support and oversight to the staff team
• Maintain positive outcomes around education engagement, family contact and agreed free time arrangements
• Ensure robust safeguarding, care planning and regulatory practice remain embedded

Your Previous Experience as Registered Manager:
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children’s residential services
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements
• Proven experience managing inspection preparation and compliance activity
• Ability to provide stable leadership and maintain positive outcomes for young people with complex histories
• Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent residential childcare management experience

This assignment offers the opportunity to join a service at a positive point in its journey, with a young person demonstrating significant improvement and reduced restrictions. If you can provide immediate impact and confident leadership during an important period, we’d love to hear from you.
