Recruitment Consultant


Basic £20K – 30K basic (depending on role offered) plus commission OTE £60K+
Flexible working – 3 days in the office 2 days WFH

The role:

Baltimore Consulting are a senior and niche appointment specialist working with public and third sector clients.  Due to further expansion, we are hiring for two experienced 360 Recruitment Consultants to join our NHS Division. Within the NHS we recruit band 8 and above roles, mostly Head of Service to Director level on an interim and permanent basis.

Last year saw our most successful sales year in 2020! In the global pandemic, not only did we not furlough any staff, but we also took on 5 new Recruitment Consultants. They have flourished in their roles! Three have gone on to win places on our F1 incentive and on our Ibiza 5* winners trip! It’s not all about hard work, we like to reward our Recruitment Consultants.

As a 360 Consultants you will run a contract desk, really embrace and enjoy business development, find creative ways to find new candidates, have a passion for recruitment and love to provide a consultative approach to your candidates and clients.  You will be joining high performing teams of talented Recruitment Consultants and leaders that offer support to those with a winning mentality.

Your skills and your new job as a Recruitment Consultant at Baltimore

  • You will be sales focussed and relationship led.
  • You will have a minimum of 18 months previous experience as a 360-recruitment consultant (any discipline considered), but any experience recruiting in the public sector a bonus!
  • You will naturally possess the gravitas and confidence to liaise comfortably with clients at a senior level.
  • Your business development skills will be second to none, in fact, it is one of your best skills.
  • You will know what gets you up in the morning and what drives you to achieve.
  • You will have superb day planning skills, ensuring a balance between candidate and client work.
  • Your job will be to network with local authorities in each geographical patch, building connections on both the candidate and client side, understanding their needs and delivering on requirements.
