Reporting into the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing trauma-informed clinical oversight and psychological support to the service. You will work to improve the lives of residents experiencing multiple disadvantages, such as homelessness, substance use, and mental health challenges, through operational leadership and collaborative partnerships.
Your role as Clinical Psychologist:

  • Provide group and 1:1 clinical supervision and reflective practice for voluntary sector staff.
  • Promote psychological wellbeing and resilience in staff working directly with individuals facing multiple disadvantages.
  • Mentor outreach workers and support trauma-informed, multi-agency meetings to assist clients.
  • Aid clients in developing safety plans using a specific psychological formulation model.
  • Attend mandatory meetings (Referral, review & allocations every Monday afternoon and clinical supervision every Tuesday).
  • Disseminate programme learnings and support the strategic ambitions of Changing Futures.
  • Collaborate with voluntary partners and other key stakeholders to deliver lasting system change.

Your previous experience as Clinical Psychologist:

  • Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and psychological formulation models.
  • Capacity to mentor and supervise staff across diverse settings.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with outreach workers to deliver client-centred support.
  • Availability to attend mandatory virtual meetings and flexibility to work a hybrid model.
  • Ability to travel to community settings as required.
