Project Officer – Children’s Services (Youth Services)
Initial 6-month interim contract
£300 – £350, inside IR35 via Umbrella
East London – Hybrid working (2 -3 days per week onsite)
 
We’re currently recruiting for an exciting Project Officer role within a fantastic London Borough Local Authority team. You’ll need experience from within a Local Authority setting and the ability to work in a fast paced, exciting environment.  You’ll be given the opportunity to grow and develop in post with training and development on offer.

Deadline for CV submission is Monday 20thMarch at 10am. My client will be holding MS Teams interviews taking place W/C 20th/27th March with a view to have the successful candidate start ASAP.
 
About your responsibilities as the Project Officer – Children’s Services:

  • You will report directly to the Strategic Lead for Youth Services and work closely with the Youth Service Development Lead and the Transformation Consultant on exciting Project work specific to Youth Services.
  • You’ll have the responsibility of preparing the project team for board meetings and manage the minutes and further preparation around this.
  • You’ll be responsible for governance and all administration around this.
  • You will support with a wide range of project work across 5 workstreams specific to the Youth Services Transformation.

About your required experience as the Project Officer – Children’s Services:

  • You’ll be degree educated or equivalent with relevant experience from within a local authority setting or have relevant Project experience specific to Youth or Children’s Services.
  • You’ll need the ability to present information concisely and communicate with leaders and stakeholders across the service.
  • You’ll need excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • References covering the last 2 years of employment.
