Job Title: Project Manager -Regeneration & Place
Location: West Midlands (remote working available)
Rate: Up to £350 a day
Duration: 3 months estimated

A well respected Local Authority has a requirement for an Interim Project Manager – Regeneration & Place to aid in the delivery key existing projects within urban regeneration and place, based in in the West Midlands for a 3 month contract (in the first instance).

Your duties as Project Manager -Regeneration & Place will include:

Reporting to the Head of Projects & Delivery (Transport & Sustainability) in the management and delivery of Project Management services for major regeneration projects including managing external multi-disciplinary project teams and external contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, project plans, milestones, interdependencies, project risks and post project.

• Liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholder experience for consultation processes
• Pull together a number of regen projects that currently running to see them to completion
• Provide PM support on key regeneration projects, leading on, project plans, milestones, interdependencies, project risks and post project evaluation
• Support on the management and co-ordination on the development and delivery of construction projects from initial scheme conception through to completion
• Lead, manage and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary project teams for major capital contracts and work programmes, leading and managing teams through project life; to include project concept, delivery and feasibility, internal and external Architectural Design, Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration
• Developing full business cases using Green Book
• Multi-disciplinary liaison with variety of stakeholders
• Co-ordinate shortfalls within existing projects around the Levelling up funds, urban realm and a Grade 1 listed building that needs the developer getting on board
• Dealing with large volumes of project paperwork for submission and sharing

Your experience as a Project Manager -Regeneration & Place will have covered:

• Front End Brief writing experience
• Stakeholder engagement experience
• Ability to run multiple projects at any one time
• Budget management experience for projects up to £20Million
• Ideally Local Gov experience or having worked with Local Gov in a partnership setting
• Understanding of capital projects
• Urban design knowledge and experience
