Project Manager Children’s Transformation
6-month interim contract to start ASAP

£400-£450 per day
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Hybrid working – one day per month onsite

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a number of projects to ensure the transformation programme is delivered on time and on budget.
Your Role as Project Manager Children’s Transformation:
- Key is understanding Project Management end to end processes, whilst supporting positive outcomes by operating in an agile and flexible way.
- Work in partnership with senior managers and staff to shape, manage and deliver the Improvement and Transformation Programme over the next 6 months.
- Ensure that the programme definition is clear, evidence based, ambitious and realistic.
- Produce performance management reports in a timely and high quality manner that align with the governance arrangements of the programme and that evidence progress against project milestones, impact on KPI’s and surface issues and barriers for resolution.
- Ensure transparency in performance management across the programme and services.
- Build strong relationships with staff to ensure strong 2 way communication on project activity.
- Bring innovation and a level of challenge, based on evidence and examples of good practice and national evidence, to ensure the ambition set is high but achievable.
- Ofsted readiness
Your previous experience as Project Manager Children’s Transformation:
- You must have previous experience working in Children’s social care
- Evidence of successfully supporting and delivering transformation projects and programmes
- Evidence of working at pace and team development, and of removing barriers to progress
- Evidence of producing high quality and accurate work
- A demonstrable open and developmental mind-set
- Good negotiation, problem resolution skills, and evidence of navigating complex relationships to gather relevant information
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to get on with people when you and they are under pressure
- Resilience and positivity
Experience of designing and delivering transformation programmes
- Proven formal relationship and stakeholder management skills
