As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects within a high-impact Children’s Transformation Programme. Reporting to the Change Delivery Lead, you will drive transformation across Children’s Social Care, Family Help, SEND, and Education.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Project Manager Children’s Transformation:-

  • Deliver projects using robust end-to-end project management methodologies, with agility and flexibility to support positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and frontline staff to shape and deliver the Improvement and Transformation Programme.
  • Ensure programme definitions are evidence-based, ambitious, and achievable.
  • Produce high-quality performance management reports aligned with governance structures, tracking progress, KPIs, and surfacing risks.
  • Promote transparency and accountability in performance across the programme.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with staff to ensure effective two-way communication.
  • Bring innovation and challenge through evidence-based best practices.
  • Support Ofsted readiness and continuous improvement.

Your previous experience as Senior Project Manager Children’s Transformation:-

The ideal candidate will have firsthand experience working within a Families First Programme: Ideally experience with the national programme or involvement with pathfinder authorities would be a distinct advantage.

  • Sufficiency and Placements Experience
  • Quality Assurance, driving continuous improvement and ensuring safe, effective placements
