Programme Lead – Inclusion

Inside IR35 – £525 per day

Due to upcoming SEND and Alternative Provision reforms, a Southwest County Council is looking for an experienced Programme Lead for Inclusion to lead key service workstreams, engaging with schools, parents, carers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful change for children and young people with SEND.

Your duties as Programme Lead – Inclusion:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive programme plan aligned with national SEND/AP reforms
  • Prepare reports and documentation for the council and the Department for Education
  • Coordinate strategic programme activities, tracking status and managing risks
  • Work collaboratively with schools, local education providers, and parent/carer groups
  • Manage contracts, financial resources, and service development initiatives

Experience needed as Programme Lead – Inclusion:

  • Proven leadership in SEND, inclusion, and multi-agency collaboration
  • Strong experience in programme management and policy implementation within education or local government
  • Relevant Change Management qualifications or extensive skills and experience
  • Experience in service improvement, stakeholder engagement, and financial management
