Reporting into a Head of Service – Education & Inclusion, you will be responsible for a councils Educational Psychology service by having operational oversight of the EPS and offering strategic advice on driving improvement.

Your Role as a PEP will include:
 

• Collaborating with the Head of Service on strategic development and service redesign, including preparation for Local Authority SEND Inspection.
• Lead the strategic development and operational oversight of the Educational Psychology Service.
• Develop strategic links to optimize high-quality Education, Health, and Care Plans, engaging in Quality Assurance exercises.
• Oversee the development of strategic plans and workforce management, including multiple educational services that link to the EPS
• Manage budget responsibilities, contribute to strategic panels, and foster relationships with local parent partnerships and agencies.
