Occupational Therapist

I am currently working with a Home Counties based local authority in their search for experienced Occupational Therapists to work across various adult social care settings within the county.  
 
Job Title: Occupational Therapist 
Contract Length: 3-month initial interim contract 
Location: Home Counties based local authority.  
Hybrid working, two days a week on site. 
Pay rate: £38 per hour  
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Your duties as an Occupational Therapist: 
  

• Reporting into the practice supervisor, you will make up part of their the Homefirst Neighbourhood Team or the Community Based team in the delivery if the councils statutory responsibilities for adult social care. 

• Using Strength Based approaches, you will ensure that services users eligible needs and options are reviewed and met, utilising support networks, community resources and adaptations are explored to achieve outcomes. 

• You will undertake timely assessments, reviews and interventions to ensure plans are reflective of the persons needs and make necessary arrangements with providers where needed. 

• Further more you will ensure support plans moving forward are suitable to the service users meetings, by providing clear breakdowns on how these are met. 

  
Experience needed as a Occupational Therapist: 
 

• Hold a recognised Occupational Therapist Qualification. 

• Hold an active HCPC registration. 

• Have more than two years post qualification experience. 

• Meet the knowledge and skill requirements to advise on latest guidance around latest legislation. 

• Available references for your most recent assignments.
