Interim Associate Director of People Services

3-month interim contract to start immediately (with potential of extension)

East of England

£350-375 per day (Band 8C)- Potential to negotiate based on experience

Inside IR35 (via umbrella)

Remote/ Hybrid working (2-3 days on site)

Reporting into the Deputy CPO, you will be responsible for leading the People Services functions within the wider Workforce & OD function for the Trust. This will include working closely with the Trust Executive Team, Divisional Leadership Teams and the HR/OD Senior Management Team and the wide Workforce & OD Teams to ensure their involvement and understanding of HR services information systems, policies and procedures. 

Your Role as Interim Associate Director of People Services:

Lead and manage the People Services functions within the wider Workforce & OD function for the Trust, and to work closely in collaboration with the HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Resourcing Manager and Talent Acquisition Lead. 
Deputise for the Deputy Chief People Officer providing professional leadership and strategic focus to all members of the Workforce & OD function. 
Develop the Business Partnering service with the aim of developing, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with other heads of services across the Workforce & OD function to develop and embed the People Strategy. 
•Lead the employee relations specialist function ensuring and monitoring effective case management to timescales.

Your previous experience as an Interim Associate Director of People Services:

•Experience of managing HR systems and services.
•Experience in the building and management of relationships with customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
•Significant knowledge in the practical application of programme and project management methodologies.
Member of relevant professional body (e.g. CIPD, BCS, etc.).
•Significant knowledge of NHS best practice in the HR Services arena.
