Reporting into the Programme Director but with a dotted line to others, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional programme to transform housing services for a Local Authority.

About the Housing Transformation Specialist role:

• Developing a unified approach to housing management that improves service delivery and fosters sustainable long-term advancements
• Transformation to include an extensive re-evaluation of operational processes, repairs, maintenance, and the full lifecycle of housing services – to be done through thorough analysis
• Implementing a housing transformation program that meets regulatory requirements while prioritising the needs of tenants and residents.
• Relationship building – foster new relationships, while nurturing existing ones, bringing internal teams with you, whilst also ensuring that tenants feel listened to.

Your previous experience as a Housing Transformation Specialist:

• Substantial Local Authority experience and understanding of all the nuances, complexities, cultures and structures of a Local Authority
• Housing Transformation experience
• Track record of working with key stakeholders, including members
• You will be able to hit the ground running and get stuck in, whilst being both operational and strategic

You must have worked in both Housing and Corporate teams within a Local Authority to be considered for this role.
