Are you ready to lead the future of preventative services for children, young people and families? As Head of Service Early Help & Prevention, you will take strategic responsibility for a wide-ranging service portfolio including Early Help, Family Support, Youth Services, Family Hubs and Children’s Centres. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the Family Help transformation agenda, influence service integration across localities and play a key role in improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

As Head of Service Early Help & Prevention, you will provide visible leadership across multiple services, working collaboratively with partners across health, education and the voluntary sector. Your Role as Head of Service Early Help & Prevention

• Lead Early Help, Family Support, Youth Services and Family Hubs across the service
• Drive the Family Help transformation programme and locality integration agenda
• Oversee NEET provision, Children’s Centres and targeted support services
• Develop impactful multi-agency partnerships to improve outcomes for children and families
• Lead performance management, quality assurance and continuous service improvement

Your Previous Experience as Head of Service Early Help & Prevention

• Senior leadership experience within Children’s Services in a Local Authority setting
• Proven background leading Early Help, Prevention, Family Support or Youth Services
• Experience delivering complex service transformation and integration programmes
• Strong understanding of performance frameworks, governance and partnership working
• Demonstrable ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams through change
