c£450-550pd Umbrella Inside IR35

Hybrid role – 2 days per week on site

This local authority is looking for a confident leader to join their senior, strategic leadership team as a Head of Service for Adult Community Care

They take a whole system approach to improve outcomes for adults, with partnership working at its heart. Strong relationships and structures for joint and integrated system leadership with the NHS are used to plan, commission and deliver health and care services across the County.

Your role as Head of Service:

• Strategic oversight of a multi-disciplined team
• Budget responsibility of c£10m+
• Managing direct reports and overall responsibility for a team of c150 staff
• Reporting to the Assistant Director

About you as a Head of Service:

• Substantial level of experience at senior manager level within local authority
• Confident in dealing with key stakeholders, as well as managing up and down.
• Understanding of all current Legislation
• Have previously managed a Social Worker team
• Be able to hit the ground running
• Some project management experience would be desirable
