On-site presence required dependant on needs of the service

Interviews will be taking place week commencing the 19th of September via Teams.

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of OD, you will be enabling the delivery of the Trust’s strategic vision. Leading on the development, implementation and monitoring of the Trust’s OD, culture, you will also be responsible for the diversity agenda and performance across the trust. As the Head of OD, Culture and Diversity you will manage 4 direct reports and have extensive experience across OD improvement and NHS Trust.

Your role as Head of Organisational Development, Culture and Diversity:

  • Make sure that the Trust’s personnel and organisational effectiveness strategies and plans are effectively integrated into broader corporate and divisional planning and support the Trust’s mission and delivery of its objectives.
  • Develop partnership working, exchange best practices, and bring about positive system change with the help of internal stakeholders and local partners to enhance working lives and the communities they serve.
  • Supervise and take the initiative in developing all training related to the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion agenda, and core skills training so that it complies with legal standards and helps the Trust to create a welcoming culture that prioritises patient safety.

Your essential qualifications as Head of Organisational Development, Culture and Diversity:

  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of leadership development and proven ability to perform at this level
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise across several subject areas including HR, OD and workforce planning.
