Reporting into the Director of Neighbourhoods you will be responsible for leading the Housing Service Centre for a Local Authority.
 
About the Head of Housing role:

  • Line management responsibility of 6 Managers
  • Take the lead in providing a primary point of contact for customer interactions within the Council’s Housing Management division, ensuring an enhanced customer experience.
  • To support the integration of the Council’s operating model and advance the Customer Access Strategy, facilitating channel shifts to help the organisation achieve its key priorities.
  • Leverage customer insights and root cause analysis to identify enhancements that reduce repeat contacts and improve first-time resolution.

 
Your previous experience as Head of Housing:

  • Have worked as Head of Housing within a Local Authority
  • Proven ability to lead teams in achieving high-performance goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Can demonstrate significant experience within a Local Authority
  • Excellent communication skills and able to manage both up and down
