Reporting into the Executive Director for the Charity, you will lead on new project transformation initiatives, contributing to the growth and development of the service. As the Head of Homelessness, you will focus on restructuring and enhancing the service delivery. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between the Executive Director and Heads of Service, ensuring seamless operations across multiple contracts and portfolios.

The charity is dedicated to improving the lives of the community members through various housing and support services.
 
Your role as Head of Homelessness:

  • Lead and deliver on multiple contracts, including rough sleeper provisions, ICB schemes, and housing benefits.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and operational efficiency, with a focus on outcomes and project co-production.
  • Strong experience of Customer Services and Resident Services
  • Work closely with a team of professionals, many with housing backgrounds, to maintain and grow services.
  • Effectively manage a varied portfolio, including charity budgets, reporting, and contract timelines.
  • Oversee QA enabling functions
  • Actively participate in growth initiatives, leading new projects and accommodation services.
  • Collaborate with business units to support and enhance employee wellbeing.

 
Your previous experience as Head of Homelessness:

  • Proven track record as a senior manager in operational service delivery, preferably within local authority or third sector backgrounds.
  • Strong understanding of varied portfolios, customer-focused service delivery, and operational management.
  • Ability to manage risk, hold high expectations, and lead with a new perspective.
  • Social landlord operations and asset management strategy.
  • Expertise in leading on restructures and transforming services.
